splendid anniversary!
I had a wonderful 1st anniversary celebration with my boyfriend at ParkRoyal Hotel, Penang.
Staff were simply amazing. I wrote an email indicating that i will be checking into the hotel late and the hotel reservation staff had replied my email almost instantly. Staff are very polite and attentive way from counter desk ,to pool and breakfast lounge to souvinor shop in the hotel. The lobby staff are very helpful and told us infront of the hotel bus stop we can catch bus 101 goes to town. Transportation seems easy but waiting time is abit longer - no fuss.
The breakfast was amazing great especially the bread section. all the buns and breads were so soft and nice especially the multigrain bread. Overall the spread was very good.
My boyfriend and i love the place and he said we will come back to stay in this hotel again. We had a great stay and enjoyed all the local food in Penang!

Fabulous hotel, wonderful location, great room. Absolutely fantastic.
Cool resort for chilling.
We had a marvellous time during our stay, relaxing and watching beautiful sunset from the hotel grounds. The hotel is a stone's throw away from the beach, eateries which offer delicious local cuisine at affordable prices as well as minimarts. The polite and friendly hotel staff have made our stay a memorable one. The hotel is suitable for all age groups.
Hotel with many sporting facilities
Many sporting facilities available within the hotel premises, eg. tennis court, water volleyball, waterslide, table tennis, gym, etc... convenient for anyone who loves to keep fit whilst traveling.
Relaxing place to stay
Enjoyed the poolside which is very close to the beach. Great place to break away from the city as it is not too crowded with guests.
The staff at the tour and transport counter in the hotel was not giving us accurate information. When we ask about the transport from hotel to airport, she suggested that it was better for us to book a taxi from them. After expressing our interest to take the public bus, she mentioned that the bus will only come by every hour. In addition, she also mentioned that the public bus will stop at every stop to wait until enough passengers before moving on. In the end, we found out that the public bus will come by every 20 minutes instead of an hour. Thus, her inforation is not accurate and misleading for tourists.
