Very nice hotel and definitely recommend it...
Very nice hotel and definitely recommend it for travellers to Penang! The pool was very nice and breakfast was good too! Location is excellant with Gurney Plaza next door for shopping, food and movies!

A perfect location. 1) few mins walk...
A perfect location. 1) few mins walk from Gurney Drive Food Centre, 2) just right in front of the seaside promenade, 3) convenient go to George Town, Beach or Penang Hill, 4) few mins walk from food street serving different kinds of local tasty cruisine, 5) Gurney shopping centre just next door. Good service you can expect from a 5 star hotel (while you pay a 3 star price). 1) friendly and attentive staffs, always with smiling face, 2) feeling comfortable and relax staying in this hotel. In short, highly recommended to all kind of travellers. It will still be my choice when going back to Penang next time!!

Fantastic hotel. Very stylish. We got upgraded...
Fantastic hotel. Very stylish. We got upgraded to the execute suite because we booked a double but they only had 2 single beds. Absolutely fabulous room! Hotel lounge is very nice, swimming pool as well. Located next to a big shopping mall. Very good restaurants in the hotel and around. Highly recommended!

Perfect and convenient location with big shopping...
Perfect and convenient location with big shopping complex (next door)and hawker centre nearby. Good view from hotel. Service is friendly. Only a bit disappointed there was no bathtub.

Spectacular hotel overall! The service staff...
Spectacular hotel overall! The service staff were very helpful from the moment we walked in (and asked for a different room). They have a very stylish lobby with a bar. We had a nicely appointed, large room with a water view and beautiful bath. The pool looked very nice though we didn't have a chance to use it. And the restaurant was excellent with a nice variety of western and native dishes. Would be happy to stay again!

Everything was fine except that when I...
Everything was fine except that when I came back from business after 1.30pm, they imposed surcharged of RM100. I thought RM50 is justified. That's personal opinion.

1) The room was supposed to have...
1) The room was supposed to have a wirlpool bathtub but there was no bathtub at all. 2) The room was supposed to be facing the beach with a balcony. Instead it faced a shopping complex car park. 3) The buffet breakfast was not impressive for the cost of the hotel as the items were very minimal and limited. 4) The 15 floor executive lounge is a good idea but the facilities were minimal and it was always full with one or two groups. All we could do was to get a glass of warm apple juice. We went there for our anniversary cum valentines day but the hotel was hardly impressive.
