The staff at service counter who helped us checked in was friendly and provided us information on where to go, but the bad point was there was no location map or directory plan and pamplets on places of interest of Penang and Malaysia at the hotel. The toilet at the lobby was out of place, nowhere to be seen near lobby but located far inside the dining area, no signs to indicate its location too. The swimming pool was rather small too.
The balcony outside the room was not cleansed, rather dirty and can't really open the windows to enjoy natural breeze which is rather a pity because people booked seaview rooms to enjoy the nice weather and sea breeze. There was a bit of problem with the circuit, sometimes electrical appliances work and sometimes don't. However the technical staff were very prompt and helpful. Last thing is that staff at service counter were slow in checking us out and were not pleasant looking and did not say bye to us or say something to welcome us back to stay. Overall, the stay was satisfactory but could be further improved.
