The hotel was overall very nice with the beach right outside. The staff was very polite and they had no problem accomodating to our needs. The service I have to say is excellent! We had the seaview rooms, which was spectacular. The only thing was that the bathroom was quite old, some of the linen was stained and the breakfast was mediocre. But otherwise, the Tanjung Bungah Beach Hotel is a good bargain with excellent views of the sea and a group of very professional and friendly staff.

Everything was great except the hotel reception staff mistake, what they did was our room was given to somebody else and when we showed up they was like we will give you someother room but not adjoining or near to each other so finally they gave us on the different floors other then that everything was all great,

The setting of Tanjung Bungah Beach hotel...
The setting of Tanjung Bungah Beach hotel was perfect, the room was nice with a lovely ocean view and the pool divine, but what marred the whole experience was seeing a mouse scampering through the dining room at breakfast time. The staff was just watching nonchalantly.
This is simply unacceptable.

The Good: the seaview room overlooking the ocean is amazing; plenty of hot water and a nice sized tub; the room is bright and roomy; the bed is very comfortable. The Bad: the breakfast buffet is terrible as well as the rest of the food at the in-house restaurant; you can hear the hotel's outdoor bar blasting its karoke even on the higher floors until about 1 a.m.; you need to take a cab everywhere (cab prices are reasonable). My Opinion: I do recommend staying at this hotel for the price given on this website. You can even get some excellent Indian food at a restaurant located across the street a little beyond the traffic light. I would stay at this hotel again, but would bring along some earplugs.

Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. The vision four movies were poor. The bathroom was a bit old. A good location since I was visiting a friend. The ocean view was excellent and quite calming. The jet skiing was particularly good since the beach did not have that many people. Tanjung Bungah Beach hotel is a good value for money.

We booked the Tanjung Bungah Beach hotel and we couldnt have asked for more!
The buffet breakfast was absolutely amazing compared to what we had been eating for the past month and the location to the beach, service and staff were lovely.
A little tip we discovered was dont catch the rip off taxi's into town, just walk outside the hotel for 10 metres to a bus stop and you can get a bus virtually anywhere you want to go for about 50cents! A big saving compared to the $5 the hotel wanted to charge! Buses are fun and reliable.

Tanjung Bungah Beach hotel is quite run down but still ok considering the cheap charges. Breakfast was pretty good. Overall, it worth every single cent paid.
Nice to be in the hotel again....
Nice to be in the hotel again. This is the 4th. time I stay with my family in this hotel but first through asiarooms.com. This year it seem the condition of the hotel room show improvement. Breakfast is also good, but there a lot to improved. Tastiness of the food is everage. Choice of food is also limited for the main dish.
Overall my daughter like swimming so we enjoy at the pool. The hotel is easy acess to town and Ferringgi Beach.

The service was excellant. The front desk was very friendly and helped us check in early. We had requested a room with a queen size bed on a higher floor and they were very accomodating and got us the room quickly. Room was very clean and the breakfast buffet was very good and had a wide spread of selection.
