It was OK. Room was bit dingy. It could use being spruced up. The fridge did not work, No a major problem for a short stay. Room on road side was a bit noisy, but not too noisy to sleep.
Location just away from the city, located on beach, nice pool, buffet breakfast was good, room clean tiday, great veiw. Try eating somewhere else for dinner, as restarant can get busy. short taxi ride to food market on beach - food was very cheap. Cosco was close , service good.
The sea view room that we checked into was a recently renovated room on the 2nd floor. It had a good view of the beach and pool. The room was clean with good fittings and carpet/tiles. Service where available was good and the staff were courteous and friendly. The beach front is just awesome and we will definitely return and has no hesitation in recommending the hotel to anyone.
Hotel staff generally is friendly and warm - in particular one Manager by the name of Nelson and one other Banquet staff (I did not get her name). Registration could have been faster. We were told there is only one room when we booked two! We requested for one room to be sea-facing. We did not get it. However, we had the rooms next to each other which was helpful. Swimming pool is too deep for young children who are non swimmers. Breakfasts and buffet dinner were excellent value for money. Location is fine - hotel nearest to the city. They could do with a clean-up or refurbishment. Long bath was dirty/ stained. The beach however, was clean. I saw workers doing an excellent job in the morning.
The room was in a bit of run down condition, maintenance/ refurbishing work required, location was good as you can walk to the beach, swimming pool was nice. its good as an average resort, Not luxurious at all.
After spending nine days shopping in Hong Kong it was great to arrive at such a wonderful Hotel where we could just relax and unwind.Pool was great and the massages were the best ever.
Can say that we will be back.
Main entrance reception level was renovated to give it a resort look,not the rooms. Breakfast was ' Too Simple' fried Meehoon looks like Brown rice, mashed-up. And MeeHoon fried with MeeHoon,nothing else. Never stay facing the road even if you are alocated the highest (5th Flr) Noisy traffic day and night. Its located at end part of Tg. Tokong and begining of Tg. Bungah. Its one of the cheapest around.
