Value for money stay
average size rooms with good housekeeping. Very fluffy pillows, fresh sheets, towels and invigorating rain shower adds to a smile to the stay here. Buffet spread could be further improved befitting its 4 stars rating. Service is so so but at least not pretentious. Will stay here again.

I arrived late and tired to find...
I arrived late and tired to find the lavatory cistern running water continually. Not welcome. Also, the early morning 'arranged' taxi to the airport was expensive and operated by a driver who 'didn't have any change'. I felt I was part of a scam; especially as when I was leaving there were taxis waiting, so no special arrangement was needed.

First of all the intrance was waaaw then...
First of all the intrance was waaaw then when we go to the side of the appartment it was through the swiming pool the floor wetty and dirty then the bill man ask us forcly for tipping!! cos he took our bags up!! location was bad no views at all! nt clean and furnture very old service bad! taxi nt bass u should order one with 20 rm 10 min !! it was bad i took only 2 nights and i run away back

I can't stop wondering as to why...
I can't stop wondering as to why I am charge (MYR230 per night )MYR60 extra by your company when the Vistana Hotel thru the website is only charging at about MYR170 per nite. I feel that your company should update your price inline with the hotel. I can't help to think that in the future, it is best to apply straight to the hotel than to make application thru agent. If the difference is about MYR20 is ok for me, but MYR60, I find it is so much difference.

The Hotel consist of service apartment and...
The Hotel consist of service apartment and full service hotel. The price is about the same. You can expect all the service that comes with the hotel but the apartment is quite bare minimal. But then again, it depends on your need. The apartment can fit about 5 adults where for the same hotel room is only 2. Therefore, it is definitely worth for a whole family to stay if you have the number. Facilities is available for apartment too (shared with hotel guests). Of course the cleanliness is quite a let down. But that could be due to holiday season where the turn over is high. Location wise, it is not close to any tourist attraction (walling distance wise). But Penang is a small island. The hotel is very accessible through the coastal highway. Overall, I would think that the service apartment is highly recommended for large family. it would cost you double if you rented a hotel rooms whether in the same hotel or other nearby.

My stay here was fantastic - staff...
My stay here was fantastic - staff very friendly/efficient and facilities all well-maintained. The fitness centre was adequately equipped, but a couple of the machines were broken. I was in a room that faced a main road and although I was on a high floor (L10), the windows did not seem to be soundproofed very well, so traffic noise kept me awake at night sometimes (though I am a light sleeper, this may not be a problem for others). Very accessible to USM (where I needed to visit)but not to beaches/batu ferringhi or Georgetown. So good for business travel but not if you're touring. However, if you don't mind catching buses or taxis it would be a fine option for you; there is a main bus station 5min walk away (bukit jambul) and a large shopping complex too.

We chose to stay at Vistana as...
We chose to stay at Vistana as it was close to relatives. It was perfect. The service excellent, close to the airport, many food outlets, short walk to shopping and now a short taxi ride to the new Shopping Plaza Queensbay. We will definitely stay again. It is some distance from Georgetown proper, but as we have been there many times before did not feel the need to venture there very often.

Every year is a must trip to...
Every year is a must trip to Penang with my family and we always chose to stay at Vistana apartment. It is so convenient, easily accesible from the Penang Bridge. Make sure you book earlier as the place is almost full especially during public holiday and school holiday. The swimming pool is considered big too. Security is definitely good. Only those staying at the apartment has access to the unit by using swipe card and for those with cars, the parking charge is minimal, i.e. RM1, if I'm not mistaken. There is convenient store and restaurant, Kayu Nasi Kandar just next to the hotel. The only minor drawback is that location. It's a bit out of Georgetown, around 20-30 minutes driving. Other than that, I love this place and recommend you to stay at the hotel or apartment. It's value for money!
