Five Days in Jerejak
We stayed for four nights in Jerejak Resort near George Town in December 2010. We usually took the Jerejak ferry service to tour George Town's heritage areas. It's a nice resort. It's pretty quiet. My wife and our son loved to see the monkeys who live around the resort. But we're disturbed to see thrashes scattered along the Jerejak coastline especially on the northern part of the island and those inside the former leper housing areas. It's probably unrealistic to expect the resort to clean up those plastic bags. Another problem was the taxi drivers. They refused to use meter and charged us higher tariff. The Malaysian government should regulate these taxi drivers.
