No safe box and fridge
Understand this is a budget hotel, so most of the facilities provided is very basic. I am still able to stay without fridge, but without a safe box provided is a bit not so good as most of the time, traveller would not want to bring along their valuables wherever they go, and also, they would not want to worry of thing being stolen from the hotel room.
Good location and clean room
Value for money and location very convenient to get around the city. There is a Food Court opposite the hotel and the biggest KFC outlet next to the hotel so very convenient for food. Rooms are small but clean and staff courteous and attentive.
3*hotel 5* service.
Very helpful hotel staff. Go out of their way to help. Front office manager helpful and very informative. Hotel is clean, value for money and central to area (walking distant).

very friendly staff speak english clean and tidy close to komtar and a variaty of eateries management is exellent will do any thing to make your stay comfortable....good value for money .
Feel like a home
I went to Pulau Pinang for international conference which was held by the Univerrsity Utara Malaysia. Actually I was not very familiar with P. Pinang. The I tried to book the hotel through the information given by the Organizer, then I checked, it was very expensive for 3 nights it costed me more than RM 700.
I remebered when I was on honey moon with my wife in Europe very long time a go, we tried to find information on "the cheap hotel", then I followed this idea, "cheap hotel in Pinang Malaysia", a number of cheap 3 star hotel" then i selected the George Town.
From bus my friend with I from the bus terminal went to hotel, wou.. the hotel staffs were nice, and told us that next day was the soft opening" and I was introduced to the hotel owner Dr. Hj Rizwan Ahmad, he was very low profile. I told him that my uncle also has a three star hotel as well and offered him if he would like to invest his money in my city to run same business.
Because of Dr. Rizwasn hospitality, my other two friends which had no rooms, due to some miscommunication between the hotel and the Agoda" finally had a room and very good room. Thanks Dr. Rizwan.
I was very thank you to encik Jasmin, the Rep. owner ho were very kind to use and I pray when I was in Pinang again I would like to see there would be another "the GeorgeTown hotel" built by Dr. Rizwan.
