Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion was earlier the residence of Cheong Fatt Tze, a powerful Chinese trading and shipping tycoon in the late 19th century.

Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion has 38 guestrooms including duplex suites. Made up of Scottish cast iron, the mansion has 5 airy courtyards and a magnificent hall. The banquet hall here can accommodate 250 people. Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion is regarded as one of the largest heritage mansion in Malaysia. Based on feng-shui principles, the mansion is built in an area of 3,000sq.meter and has 220 windows.

The mansion has 16 uniquely themed bedroom apartments for guests who want a unique heritage experience of its grandeur. These 16 apartments vary in size from each other and are fully air conditioned. All the rooms at Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion are fitted with en-suite bathroom and personal valet. The Rooms at Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion are built in a traditional design, and are fitted with period furnishings.

Some of the facilities available at Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion include air-condition, ceiling fan, telephone and tea/coffee maker. The deluxe rooms here are fitted with a king size bed or 2 single beds and a bathtub with an overhead shower.
