The "resort" was indeed very tired-looking. Not run down but very 70s. We could not have taken living in a regular room for 3 days, so we upgraded to their best room which was comparable to a good North American motel room.
The location was good and relaxing but it's only good to go if you're stopping on your way somewhere, not if you make it a destination.

Suria Service Apartment (Bukit Merah Laketown Resort) very good @ quality on services, room condition almost perfect for business & pleasure visit and their facilities was perfect.

I'm waiting long time at the hotel...
I'm waiting long time at the hotel reception before check in the hotel. All the reception staff never follow the sequence to serve the guests. When I gave the hotel voucher to the reception staff, she asked me to paid the room rate as RM200 and RM50 for room deposit,total RM250. I told them, I booked the hotel at Asiarooms.com, and I already settle all the payment, why asking me to pay RM200 for the room rate? After that she told me that no more Standard room, asking me to choice Deluxe Room and I need to paid extra RM50. I get angry and I asked to speak to the hotel manager to settle my problem. The reception staff was inflexible, rude and poor customer service.
