We stayed at Hotel Sabah for two nights. The room was nice, good size and a bathroom with both shower and bathtub. They didn´t have any non smoking rooms with kingsize bed so we unfortunately had to take a room with two single beds. But other than that it was good. Poolarea was also good, if they would have removed the leafs fallen into the pool and outdoor jacuzzi, it would have impoved the inpression. The breakfast buffe was okey, not the best but enough. Good service at front desk and nice staff. Short taxidrive away from Sandakan town. I would rekommend this hotel.
