Reasonable hotel, very friendly and helpful staff....
Reasonable hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money, although a free shuttle bus to the airport would be appreciated (especially taking into account that you get a free transfer from the airport to the hotel). Otherwise, I have no negative remarks about this hotel.
Very good value for money and close...
Very good value for money and close to airport so ideal for anyone needing an overnight stay in KL. The room was big, clean and it had that comfort feel about it. The service was good as well. I have stayed in other hotels near KL airport but the Empress is the best value!

Overall it was a good stay - we were not told that we could be picked up at the airport so we paid a premium price to get taken by taxi to the hotel which is a good 20 mins drive. Room size was good although we paid for a triple room for 3 adults and instead got a double room and had an extra bed put in. Remote to the tv was broken and they were not able to fix it for us - Airconditioning was fixed to a cool temp and we were unable to change this - we therefore froze (it could not be controlled by them either) and there were no spare blankets although we could have requested some. Room was good size, clean and service in the resaurant was good, friendly staff and prompt shuttle back to the airport for a nominal fee. We were also able to take the room earlier and have it later to coincide with our flight and for this paid an extra $30. Pool was clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The room was o.k. Aircond was good and tasty foods. Transport from Airport to hotel was free but I had to pay to go to KL Airport next day. Overall it was relax staying as it was just transit.
We used this hotel as a stop...
We used this hotel as a stop over and found it excellent. The staff were friendly, rates reasonable and the room was clean. Our only criticism was the lack of a bath (shower only) and the inability to adjust the airconditioning (as the room was rather cold) but these factors would only affect our decision to stay for longer periods. We would definitely use this hotel again if we had to stop over on a long flight.

The Empress hotel was located in great location, just only 10 min from the Airport. Beside that the hotel also provide free airport transfer from the Airport also. The room was basic, clean and spacious. The hotel rather suite for business purpose. The Malaysian hospitality boasting of a range of amenities and facilities. It is a budget hotel that really values for the money. We would recommend anyone to stay here.
