Please dont ever stay at this hotel
i was chared and arm and a leg for a seven night stay. however i checked out the next morning and found another hotel. the advertize on your site they disable freindly, what a bunch of liers. even the gm was not bothered. travelling 1000's of km's to here what a disappointment. they do not care

Our stay at The Primula Beach Resort...
Our stay at The Primula Beach Resort was most comfortable. The room was very clean, very spacious, and well serviced. Breakfast included a good range of delicious foods. The grounds are lovely and the pool is most delightful - albeit the water in the pool is very warm - a consequence of the external temperatures. Included near the pool is a giant chess set - a wonderful pass-time. The hotel offers a free shuttle service into the city at allocated times as well. Very pleasant staff. We would certainly stay here again.

Booked 2 rooms for my family of...
Booked 2 rooms for my family of 4 for an overnight stopover. The hotel staff is friendly and nice of them to upgrade us to seaview rooms at the highest floor. Even though they were smoking rooms, there were no lingering cigerette smell in the rooms. The hotel was almost full as a big local company has block booked almost the entire hotel for their staff function. The car park is also sufficiently big, so no parking problems despite so many locals staying there. The rooms are clean and comfortable but the breakfast spread is only average. The location is a slight distance from town, not a problem if you drive. It's a good hotel for business stopover or for travellers who want better comfort in their overnight stopover before proceeding to the off-shore islands the next morning.

Truly the best hotel available in the...
Truly the best hotel available in the city, bearing in mind KT isn't an international city after all. Room size, service, breakfast, pool and beach, security and location all justify the room-rate charged. Overall please treat KT as an unpolished pearl and don't ever compare it to KL, KK, Langkawi nor Penang! It has its own merits.

It was real good stay. I needed to stay for one night so I could go to Kuala besut the next morning. The hotel location is great and facing the city's beach.

We enjoyed our stay at the Primula....
We enjoyed our stay at the Primula. The location is right on the beach and our room had a sea view. The pool is very good for both adults and a secure childrens' area with a slide. As we were there in the monsoon season we couldn't swim in the sea and I don't know whether it is advisable at other times. Everyone seemed to warn us against this so this was a disappointment given that we had such a good seafront location. The breakfast was very good (buffet style) and we found other restaurants nearby which were very reasonable indeed very cheap. Our only real issue with our room was that we had an infestation of very small ants. ~They didn't do us any harm seeming to confine themselves to the area where we made tea. If they had bothered us I suppose we could have asked for a room move but they weren't that much of a problem.

My family love the hotel. It is at a strategic location; near the city, beach, pasar payang and tourist attraction locations. The bathroom need improvement though.

My family (2 adults and 3 kids)...
My family (2 adults and 3 kids) stayed in 2 deluxe rooms at this hotel for 4 nights in Oct/Nov 2008. The location is perfect, right on the beach with a great pool and lovely gardens. There's lots for the kids to do: swimming, beach, netball, swing, see-saw, giant chess, kite-flying etc. There's a small spa in the hotel with very reasonable prices. Breakfast is ok but the a la carte food service can be very slow and not cheap. There was a bit of delay with checking in because the hotel was full-house due to the equestrian event taking place in Terengganu then. The rooms (ours were pool/seaview) look like they have been recently refurbished (not spanking new but almost). Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This is probably the best hotel in Kuala Terengganu (town area, not the islands where there are many other nice hotels). We'll definitely stay again.

This was our second stay at the...
This was our second stay at the Primula. In our view the hotel provides excellent value for money. Our room was spacious and clean. It had obviously undergone some recent refurbishment. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.

The hotel is nice but a bit...
The hotel is nice but a bit old. Stayed for 2 nights at the deluxe room. Room size, cleanliness and facilities are decent. Now the bad news. Smoking in the lobby (air-conditioned) is permitted. It was very unbearable for me and my kids. My complain to the guest officer was shrugged off. This is despite a law in Malaysia prohibiting smoking in an air-conditoned area. Foods during breakfast were not replenished fast enough.
