Good Location & Good Value For Money
Hotel location is very close to bus terminal and jetty for ferrying to nearby island. A good place for shopping local products, all with reasonable price. As for food, there are a number of eateries nearby. Being quite a new hotel, it is clean. Overall, I recommend this hotel to budget travellers as it gives real value for money.
Liked that you could get free hot and cold water. Staff helpful. No complaints
the room was clean and nice and it was very handy to have free wifi.
there was alot of noise in the middle of the night, sounded like someone was slamming all of the doors.

i wouldnt reccomend kuala terrenganu as a city to young backpackers.
Basic Accommodation near Food Places
The hotel was within walking distance of the bus station as well as pasar payang. it is also near many shops as well as food areas. There is kfc, mcdonalds within walking distance. Many choice of food places. Walking distance to shahbandar to catch the city bus which will bring you around the city at certain timings. Recommended for visitors without transportation. :)
I booked 2 rooms for 4 people...
I booked 2 rooms for 4 people to stay. Rooms are of few ants...and the bathrooms are quite small. 50% Windows not able to closed. Also we encountered a late night room change due to the A/C problem. But the staffs are of a really good manner, quick response time, quick solution implemented.

The staff seemed unhappy to get another guest. The room was extremely depressing. No windows, very dark and smelling of sigarette smoke (while we requested a non-smoking room).
Although the room was not that expensive, you'd probably be better off in another cheap hotel.
Booked the room because of it's location...
Booked the room because of it's location however was surprised that there was no lift in the building. Had to drag our suitcases up 2 floors! Room amenities was extremely basic i.e only beds, pillows, tv, bathroom with hot/cold shower, 2 towels, aircondition...that's it. Do not expect room service. Overall will not stay there again! Suitable for backpackers. Not recommended for family with young children or senior citizens.

We have a nice stay in the hotel - very near to Pasar Payang and bus station. however, live should be more lively if we got a room with windows (at least). Modest food can be easily found at nearby food stalls. Fast food restaurants, banks, and Mydin are also nearby.
