Recently renovated, the lobby is now very large as it is a u-shape and incorporates the welcome area when there is a conference. The lobby is a lot brighter than it used to be as the colour scheme is predominantly blue with large and comfortable sofas and armchairs and modern lighting and furniture. A much needed improvement. This Holiday Inn is a unique property and was the first Holiday Inn in Europe. With the extension of the lobby, most sporting facilities have gone and when the restaurant is renovated, the childrens area will also disappear, however, it remains a good product and and a good position from which to explore Holland thanks to Leidens first class train connections.
