Base Pipi Patch provides friendly, funky, clean and cosy accommodation just metres from the beach and only two minutes walk to Paihia's wharf, ferries, shopping and cafes.

At Base Pipi Patch we pride ourselves on our cleanliness. Every room is serviced and cleaned everyday, as are the ensuite bathrooms.
The communal kitchen is cleaned three times a day to provide guests with a clean environment to cook and enjoy their meals.
Our friendly Clean Team have worked with us for many years and are always happy to assist any of our guests.

Our bar has nightly BBQs, activities, fun and games, including weekly Quiz nights, dress ups and drink specials. It is a place to meet and get to know other travellers and locals.

The reception and travel crew are a mixture of locals and traveller that came to stay and never left! They love the Bay of Islands and can help you make the most of your stay by telling you the best places to go.

The sunny bar deck is a fun and cool place to chill out after a day out on the water, and enjoy a cool pint of beer.

Base Pipi Patch is only a 5 minute walk from the town centre with supermarket, banks, post office etc, and only 50 meters from the beach and some of Paihia’s great cafes.

If you do not feel like cooking and doing the dishes afterwards, Base Pipi Patch offers the famous nightly Big Kiwi BBQ for $12. Marinated steak, BBQ sausage, creamy potatoe bake, summer salad, breads and sauces, and topped off with a FREE beer or wine.
