Country Comfort Alcamo Hotel, Hamilton  

This was undoubtedly the most horrible place I've stayed at. When we entered the room, the smell (stench) nearly bowled us over. We tried to air it out but we couldn't. It had one queen and one double bed in it. The double bed had almost see through sheets on it, with very old patched up woollen blanket on it; but the worst part about the bed was the base, it was some sort of wooden base with torn dirty material on it, i was afraid i would get bed bugs from it. I kept expecting things to crawl on me all night, so I had little sleep, it was awful.
The main bed had no lights near it at all and the bed head and side bench were very old wooden things painted blue only half of the room had lighting. The shower cubical once had a shower screen that had broken so they put a shower curtain on the inside of it. I decided to wait until our next hotel to shower. We booked for 3 days but cancelled two of those days before our stay, thankfully, three nights would have been sheer hell. It was disgusting the smell was vile.
There also was a glass door in the unit to another room with a sign that said do not enter, it let an enormous amount of light into the room, there was a window to it from the unit bathroom, it was a spa room that was filled with rubbish. Honestly, they should have paid us to stay there! We would never ever stay there again,never, never!
