Directions

Travel North on Highway 1 from Christchurch.

At Waipara turn left onto highway 7 sign posted West Coast, Lewis Pass & Hanmer Springs.

Continue on highway seven to sign on right directing Hanmer Springs Highway 7A.

.At the Hanmer Springs Junction, turn right and cross the historic ferry bridge over the Waiau River.

turn right into Medway Road before the Hanmer River Bridge, (signposted to Braemar Lodge & Charwell Lodge).

400m past the campground turn into the steep drive on the right.

Keep left on the drive at the fork, and we are then the first turn off on the right.

Travel time from Christchurch one & a half hours.
