Directions

Directions from Christchurch: Drive West on the Main West Coast Road (SH 73) through Yaldhurst.

Stay on SH73, passing through West Melton and Kirwee you will come to Darfield (approximately 25 minutes).

A sign at the end of the township directs you to turn left to Methven and Mount Hutt on SH 72.

Take this road, passing through Coalgate and Glentunnel.

After 37km SH72 turns sharp left (at the Windwhistle Garage).

Take the road straight ahead (be very careful of the turn) with the garage on the left, this will join you up with Coleridge Road - continue for 6kms until you reach Terrace Downs.
