Quaint
Access with heavy bags was difficult as our room was in the old part of this hotel so up in the lift but then up/down some stairs. It was also odd to have to walk through the restaurant to get to the front door. Whilst the room and facilities were fine the shape of the bathroom meant it was only possible for one of us to use it at a time

Large and sprawling building looking a bit...
Large and sprawling building looking a bit tired.There was quite a lot of noise in at night and early morning as guests were either arriving or leaving. Bearing in mind the limited hotel accommodation available in Oamaru,this may be the best you can do.
