This was a beautiful hotel, with really good sized rooms. The in-room facilities were great, with a large plasma TV, IPod docking station and mini bar. The decor is modern and slightly more unusual that what you would expect to find in a large chain hotel. The outdoor hot tubs are a bit of a disappointment, and there is no pool. The location is great, as it is only a 5 minute walk to the town, but you need to be prepared for quite a steep hill back up to the hotel. Good eco friendly policy in the hotel with regard to recycling etc. Only complaint would be that we had to pay for parking. In a hotle of this standard, I expect free parking, especially when the car park belonged to the hotel. Other than that, it was brilliant value for money, and I definitely recommend it.

Room was spacious. It was advertised as "Lake...
Room was spacious. It was advertised as "Lake view", however this was achieved by standing on tiptoe and looking out of high sloping skylight windows!!! to catch a glimpse of the lake. So take their description with a grain of salt.
