Our stay in your hotel was not...
Our stay in your hotel was not too bad . My wife ordered some wine , only to find out you had run out . So I went upstairs to order a cocktail only to find I had to step over buckets on the top of the stairs due to the leaking roof !! I thought this was quite dangerous especially if a patron had been drinking and failed to see them. The young lady behind the bar and also the young lady behind the bar at the top of the stairs were both very helpful with my drinks. The two young men who were new to working in your hotel as waiters , I felt did an extremely good job . So all in all it was not a bad stay but to be honest we have stayed in many hotels, motels all around the world and could not say this was our favourite at all. Staff at the front of house were brilliant , very helpful and friendly.

There were only three aspects of the...
There were only three aspects of the hotel that I found unsatisfactory: First, the hotel fitness facility was outdated and limited in usable equipment; second, the room I was assigned was close to water pipes that you could hear whenever someone in the hotel showered or used great amounts of water; and third, the television has very few good channels. Otherwise, I was quite impressed with this hotel.

Room was nice - plenty of space....
Room was nice - plenty of space. The pool area was good. The only problem with the room was that it was impossible to get hot water out of the bath taps - only luke warm, which was disappointing. Service to the room was good.

Excellent hotel located centrally within Rotorua. ...
Excellent hotel located centrally within Rotorua. The only downside was the fact that the rubish dumpster was right below our room and we were woken in the morning by staff (or others?) puting trash into the dumpster. Not really a problem though (we had to get up anyway). We greatly enjoyed the stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone. It was a really great room for a very reasonable price, friendly, helpful staff. Jim & Kay Morley Perth W.A.

Rydges Hotel is one of the best...
Rydges Hotel is one of the best Hotels that Rotorua has to offer. The Rooms a large and very clean. The bathrooms are a very good size. The staff are friendly and always willing to help someone find things to see and do. I look forward to staying at Rydges Rotorua again.
