The Hotel was lovely and beautiful views...
The Hotel was lovely and beautiful views from our room. However we do prefer hotels/motels that you can drive up and park outside your room for easy unpacking and this hotel had a long walk down two corridors to pull our cases along to get to our room, so from that point of view we wouldn't stay there again, otherwise couldn't fault it. The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. Regards Dianne

This hotel was fine for the short...
This hotel was fine for the short time we were there, but it is certainly not luxury in any way, and is very impersonal. The rooms are a really good size and very comfortable, and it was great to have a view of the lake. My main complaint would be that it is a 2 story hotel with no elevator. Hauling heavy luggage up and down the stairs was not fun! Really convenient location- handy for the town, and a good stop over for Milford Sound.

Very well positioned just across the (quiet)...
Very well positioned just across the (quiet) road from the lake with good mountain and lake views from the dining room. Friendly staff.

A very pleasant hotel with nice lawns...
A very pleasant hotel with nice lawns overlooking lake Te Anau. Fine dining in the restaurant. Only crticism was that the bar tended to close a bit early.
