I booked this hotel because almost all...
I booked this hotel because almost all hotels in the city were full. If I had realised how bad it was going to be I would have changed weeks for a quieter one. My wife and I arrieved around 2000hrs and spent twenty minutes trying to find the receptionist who was making up rooms, she said. After being shown to the dirtiest hotel room we have ever seen tried to make a cup of tea and found no milk, a further half hour walk round and round the hotel and then half hour while she found some milk left me very unimpressed!!! Next day although the beds etc. were made we could find little evidence of cleaning and even found the cups were not changed, something else we have never experienced before. In short if you like staying in dirt and squalour this is the place for you, we would not be stopping there again if it was cheap, as one of the most expensive I have found in NZ its got no chance.
