The hostel is open 24/7 & offers 4-6 bed dorms as well as doubles with ensuites. Exclusive only to base, the upmarket, luxury Sanctuary floor is for girls only. There are also great chill out areas, communal kitchen, dining area, TV room & high speed internet/wifi. To make your stay in Wellington as perfect as possible our friendly, local travel desk staff will help you book your activities & even travel & accommodation for your onward journey. If that wasn’t enough the on-site party bar, Basement, is open 7 nights a week for all the craziness you can handle!

1)We must receive a valid notice of cancellation of your booking in writing at rwc2011@stayatbase.com within 90 days prior to day of arrival.
2)Any cancellation within 90 days of the check in date will incur 100% cancellation fee.
3)No shows will also be charged for the full reservation and any remaining nights cancelled.
4)For a notice of cancellation to be valid, it must include the hostel name, reservation name, guest name and email address as these details appear on your confirmation booking.
5)Any requested changed with respect to your booking including check-in and check-out dates and configuration of accommodation, must be made directly with the hostel where you have booked your accommodation. You acknowledge that all reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your request, but there is no obligation or guarantee that your booking will be changed.
