one night stay
When we arrived at the hotel the person on duty was rude we didnot recieve one to one service, the hotel was going through renovation, the room was very small and the pool was not what we thought, we were due to stay 7 nights but only stayed one, it is not the hotel featured in the picture on the web site. the hotel only had one restaurant it was of indian cuisine, the sports bar the staff were using the pool table so guests could not, the hotel bar was very poorly stocked and either the glass hadn't been cleaned properly or my bottle of cider was off but they were not obliging to change it. the next morning we were woken up by a pneumatic drill and this was only 7.30am expect to be able to stay in bed later when on holiday. We felt the hotel didnot cater for international clientel, it seemed it catered for guests from India and we could smell curry all over the hotel.

Good choice for Muscat
The Falaj Hotel is definitely a good choice. Clean rooms, nice views, fiendly staff, excellent food and a pleasant swimming pool. Within easy reach of Mutrah and Muscat.
