a nice getaway
nice quiet place to stay.friendly staff.still needs a little landscaping.suited my stay perfectly.
Relaxing and clean but very basic.
Overall I was pretty happy with Sherwood.
Room: I am extremely picky with rooms and this one suits me fine. Upside: the room is a good size with Sparkling clean bathroom and super hot showers with good strong pressure. Downside: Only one bath towel per person was given, no washcloth and no floor mats. I was very annoyed that the water from the shower would wet the Entire bathroom floor and there is no floor mat or extra towels to wipe the water off -- so my feet were constantly wet when i used the bathroom. Very little shampoo/conditioner/soap so bring your own if you take multiple showers.
Food: Very poor quality food at their restaurant. Taste like fast food or microwavable quality food. Go out and eat if you can.
Location: Awesome view of the sea and water is crystal clear, good for swimming. No beach though but they do have a pool for laying out and catching some rays. There is no night life or restaurants close by and no free shuttle service. They offer shuttle/Taxi service at a cost of around $10 each way, $20 RT.
This resort is wonderful if you don't care about the quality of food or nightlife, but just need clean basic accomidations for diving around bohol. Balicasag has awsome diving!
