Very friendly staff and clean room
Despite outside appearances, it was a lovely clean hotel. The view was disappointing! Apart from this, it was clean, quiet, spacious and very convenient for the main town.
Would stay again, but would ask for a better view of the river.

Great place. Less than a five-minute walk from downtown (McDonald's, supermarket, etc.) and less than a 10-minute tricycle ride to Island City Mall.
CONS
-far from Alona beach (30+ minute tricycle road); hence, lack of tourist agencies. (not related to this article, but do not go to the Bohol Tourism Office in the Capitol Building--it's a major rip off!!!! You're better off spending the 300 PHP ride to Alona and getting a much better deal there).
-there are a lot of ants in the room (a couple of spiders, too), but this is common in the Philippines from what I've seen so it isn't exactly exclusive to this place. so, if you have a phobia towards insects, don't come here. that said, remember they're harmless and I think the only places where they wouldn't be ants and spiders are expensive accommodations such as hotels.

The room was clean but our room's cr was clogging..just 5-10 mins walk to capitol of tagbilaran where foods are cheapern that's why u can save a few hundreds compare when u checked-in at panglao.

The staff was freindly and helpful. Room was clean and cheery. They had Wi-fi hot water
air con, and private bath for 25 US. The neibborhood was rough and dirty. You wouldnt
want to hang out unless you are practiceing for gang membership. But great bang for
the denero. Also the rooms had a waterfront view!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just have a plan of entry

Welcoming
I was pleasantly surprised when I saw my room. It is basic, just 2 beds and a dresser and tv. Bathroom is adequate and clean, only problem was the lack of a shower curtain which meant the floor was wet after a shower.
The view is fantastic and there is usually a nice breeze in the evening and night time. The balcony is small, but sufficient.
The best thing of all is the common room on the top floor. It has tea and coffee facilities and tables and crockery for eating. Again the breeze up there makes it very pleasant.
The management were happy for an extra person to sleep in my room at no extra cost adn welcomed other visitors to use the common room.

We stayed for 3 nights fr June 6-9...and we had a great time. If you are looking for a hotel close to shopping malls and ammenities..but doesn't mind not having a swimming pool, I think this is the best. Kinda old bldg...but very comfortable to stay in. Staff are friendly...if you need anything...just ask and they will be more than happy to serve u. I would personally like to thank Eva, for her assistance in a friendly manner. Job well done..Keep it up Eva! :). I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.
