Overall speaking, the hotel is good and is at the centre of D'Mall. However, attitude of some staff is not very friendly.

Our room's bathroom was always flooding when we take a shower. the hotel overall is very noisy and lacks baby/child friendly facilities, ie no high chair, no elevator fr stroller..definitely not for families with small
kids Good fr party people only who doesn't care about anything but partying and crashing into the room Service was ok..not very friendly staff..

"I don't know where to start. The..."
I don't know where to start. The idea was great, but The Tides fell short on execution. This is a place that definitely looked better in photos. Room size was too small and lacked surface
area to put anything on. I saw the photos but never noticed that there was hardly any counter space in the bath area. Our sheets were stained, the air conditioning unit leaked that we had to put the garbage can under it to catch the condensation. The towels had handwritten numbers and letters (in ballpoint pen) on the corners. Codes??? The TV was the worst flat screen we'd ever seen with horrible resolution and volume control. The volume jumped from soft to loud, nothing in between. Our room was by the back stairwell where it constantly smelled of fried fish as it probably shared an adjacent wall to a restaurant. The only light at the end of the tunnel was a beautiful rooftop deck and reasonably priced happy hour prices for drinks. I would have expected this from a $70/per night motel, but not $140 USD.

Nearly perfect;we found a few things to complain.First location if you dream something in front of beach ,this hotel doesn't.Breakfast could better but still good and wifi outside the rooms could be use inside rooms. As
you see nothing is important to complain. It is in station 2 ,for us it was great ;everything is so near.We asked hotel for transfer to airport but you don't need .We found it is also so easy but they are also so good for it.The staff is great;they are so kind and helpfull. We enjoyed and if we come again ,and doesn't want to stay in front of beach,we will choose The Tides.

"Service and friendliness was faultless. Check-in and..."
Service and friendliness was faultless. Check-in and check-out was easy. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. My only criticisms about the rooms were that, although of high spec design, the sink wasn't particularly functional
and the water was generally lukewarm. Being in the heart of D'Mall was very convenient, but for beach bums the hotel does not have a beach area. In saying that, the hotel has a very nice infinity pool, with very comfy sun loungers, and is generally peaceful and quiet. There is a good breakfast and bar menu, which is competively priced, and the bar area can have a party feel when things really heat up. I would advise that this hotel is more suited to those in the 20 - 40 age bracket.

"A brand new, stylish and modern hotel..."
A brand new, stylish and modern hotel situated at a convenient location. However, it surprised me with the state of maintenance from the wear & tear at the ceiling (could be bad in a year
if nothing is done) for a new hotel as such. The poor drainage in the bath can be tolerated but it is terrible to see the toilet almost overflows despite the smell comes up from ones own ...... I will definitely like to stay in a hotel as such but only provided the hotel manager can response positively to what I have written in my feed back form and tactical the above problems.

"We were very diasappointed with the room..."
We were very diasappointed with the room which was supposed to be an exceptional room which we paid extra for. The first night we were on the bottom level in room 101 where we heard
the shutters constantly opening and closing. We were then transferred to the second level and the flat screen TV had a very poor picture. We were disappointed with the services offered, they wanted to charge us 500 peso to open a bottle of wine of the upper deck. This is not a 4 or 5 star hotel at best 2 for my liking and we overpaid relative to the other hotels available in Boracay which had ocean views for less. Location wise the hotel is in the main part of the mall and 50m to the beach.
