The hotel adjoins a girls' school, and loudspeakers were blaring over a whole weekend with music and voice from as early as 05.00, as to require me to ask for a change of room. Such intrusive noise was unacceptable.
For the last three days of my short stay, there was no hot water in the mornings. The restaurant was unsatisfactory, and they literally could not successfully boil an egg. All meal courses arrived at the table at the same time (when dinner was ordered in the evening).
At the pool on one ocassion on an evening, the staff at the poolside were all occupied with 'working out' in the gym meant for guests, that after half an hour of no service, I returned to my room.
Access to the island of Boracay was primitive, with me having to be physically carried through water on a porter's back through the sea,and off the ferry, at the Boracay/Caticlan boat crossing.
I would certainly discourage visitors who expect reasonable standards, to subject themselves to a stay at this hotel.
