Best location on White Beach
This was our second stay at Estacio Uno - everything lived up to expectations. Can't beat the beach front location - the ambience is just great. Very good customer service level - both professional and friendly. Can readily recommend this place for a great Boracay experience. Yes, we will be back.

Impressive, friendly and relaxing
From the airport transfer to the welcoming cocktail on arrival at the hotel we found this hotel to be better than any of the other five 5 star hotels we stayed at whilst in the Philippines on this visit. With friendly service, fresh and bright decor and convenient location.
If searching for faults, I can only list a few minor issues which really didn't bother us for the 4 days we stayed.
They include
- the evening buffet dinner a little repetitive, whilst the quality was fine, the selection had little variation from one day to the next.
- No elevator to access the the upper two floors
- The design of the hotel and the aggressive door closers fitted meant we could quite clearly hear other guest room doors closing, not only on our floor but other floors as well
- Mini bar was only checked at check-out.
- we found the bed to be very hard (bordering on uncomfortable)
Overall though, the pros by far out weighed the cons and we enjoyed our stay.
My one recommendation, regardless of where you stay on Boracay, if you are flying in and unfamiliar with the area, avail yourself of the hotel's airport transfer service, even if it means contacting your hotel of choice directly. And be very conscious of the very limited luggage allowance on the aircraft (at least on Philippine Airlines / Philair Express who seem to be incapable of running on time. 8 flights in 2.5 weeks, only 1 was on time)

Plus:
- Perfect location on best part of white beach
- Very good, friendly snd attentive staff. The best!
- brand new renovated (stylish design)
- happy hour (two for one drinks) from 4-7pm
- ability to rent your own private cabana on the beach for 3h a day
- own "massage" cabana with excellent massage personnel (400 pesos per h)
- chill out music during happy hour
- close to party places such as "Cocomangas"
- 2min by tricycle to next shopping mall
Minus:
- right on the busy main street therefore exhaust fumes coming into the lobby. Suggested to build in a glass door to prevent this from happening and they were responsive to the idea.In two years time all motorizes tricycles will be replaced with electric tricycles, so problem will eventually solve itself..
- the food could be improved as well as the breakfast... A selection of fresh juices and fruit , as well as f.e. cereals would be nice... So far choice is very limited.
Overall this place can be recommended and I would stay at Estacio again. Its the staff, the location on the best part of white beach and the modern design which makes this place a perfect hangout on Boracay. Don't fool yourself into thinking that Boracay is a deserted paradise island. This is a major tourist hub with all the negative consequences (construction boom, prostitution, land degradation, garbage..). Nevertheless with Station 1 White Beach and Pukka Beach in the west some nice parts are still intact. If you are a kiteboarder (like me) head to Bulabog beach for one of the best kite surf spots in Asia.

Staff here is incredibly friendly and sincere. Always a smile on each of their faces. Food is so-so. Place is well situated away from the noisy and more happening station 2. However, it's only a 15mins slow walk by the beach to d mall when we want to grab lunch or dinner. Superior rooms are way nicer, larger and comfortable than the standard rooms. The balcony opens to the beach and the daily beautiful sunsets are just 10 steps away from the front of your room. I may not have given such a good review if I've stayed in the standard room. However, if you have a budget to keep to, standard rooms are good too as the cleanliness of the rooms are not compromised. My husband and I love the outdoor hammocks at the cabanas. It's so relaxing to just lie there and watch the people stroll by and to wait for the sunset. I'll definitely stay at Waling Waling again if I were to come back to Boracay. The friendly staff is a big draw too.

We could not drink the water, so I think the Hotel should have bottle water in the rooms for free.
