The service there is nice and they are helpful~No matter what your problem is, they will be very kind and patient to response. The food there is also delicious. Anyway, I do recommend this resort to any of you who want to stay in Boracay , the price and the service is worthy!!
The resort is OK, but needs to fix plumbing
This resort is OK, very clean, we were upgraded to a non-standard room free of charge but the water is not strong enough, toilet flush is not good. Breakfast is so-so, but the service is good enough and staff was very friendly. There was a welcome fruit basket and welcome drink is good. They were able to arrange our transfer from the resort to Kalibo airport on such short notice (the night before our departure) but what I didn't like about it is that we were not able to eat breakfast on the morning of our departure. The night before, I asked front desk what time should we leave if our flight is at 2:40 PM, she said about 10-10:30 AM so we thought of waking up at 8AM, take a bath and pack all our things then have breakfast at 9 AM. The next morning at 8AM though, front desk sent me text message (they don't have phone in the room) saying that transportation will be leaving at 9AM so we had to hurry, finished everything at 9AM but didn't have time to eat breakfast. I would've appreciated it if they informed me a lot earlier than 8AM that the transportation will be leaving at 9AM. We arrived at Kalibo lunch time and that's the only time when we were able to eat something. If on tight budget, I would recommend this resort, you can book via AsiaRooms.com with discount but plumbing is not so good and you have to arrange your airport transfers in advance and wake up early to make sure you can have your breakfast.
Garden suites are better!
This is my 2nd time at BBR within 3 months.
Just like my previous review of the seafood suite. The cafe/ bar service is still bad. Front office is good and the day security guard is great. He is friendly and will help to make sure he moves the sun shade for you if you don't want to be under the sun constantly.
The room, is so much better than the seaview suites eventhough it doesn't have a view now!
The bathroom is more spacious though the water flow is still as weak. The cable tv has many channels but the reception is not fantastic.
The resort is so well located.
The cafe has nice seats to watch sunset and shisha to chill later in the evening.
We stayed in the "seaview" suite room which did not have much view of the sea. The suite came with a living area, bathroom and bedroom.
The living room has a chillout daybed but the ceiling fan isn't of too much use. The living room can get noisy and with the balcony doors closed, it will be too warm. The TV console is also in the living room, which makes it quite difficult to watch without having to hear the music or noise coming from the bar/restaurant or even the passer-by.
The bathroom is simple with wooden shutter doors. Bathroom amenities is minimum. Sufficient supply of towels though. The toilet flush doesn't work too well and the water from the shower isnt too strong and wasn't too warm at "peak hours" of the day.
The room is spacious with a bit of day light. It was furnished with a side table and chair and also a tiny fridge. There was no TV in the room which we felt would have been better since what could be better than channel surfing on the bed before bedtime.
Breakfast at the Cafe del Mar wasn't too good. We had set breakfast and the service was rather poor, perhaps 'cuz we are Asians and service staff tends to treat us with lesser respect! In fact, throughout the entire stay, the service at Cafe del Mar was really poor. Even when we were chilling out by the beach chairs during sunset for 2 evenings.
I must comment that the receptionist and the security guards by the beach were on the contrary very friendly and does a great job! Cheers to them!
The suite room definitely wasn't worth the money. I would think the newer garden rooms would be a better choice. Don't bother having breakfast at the hotel. Go somewhere else around Station 1 for more decent breakfast.

The BBR is just a perfect little place to stay on what is a heavenly island. The management and staff could not be friendlier and more helpful and the setting right on the beach is truly wonderful. Cafe Del Mar which fronts the hotel is the best place for sunset cocktails and late night drinks before you go off and hit the nightspots. Its not 5 star and a few things in the room don't always work but they get fixed quickly. Book an Ocean suite, its worth it. We will be back for sure.
