The bad The website shows rooms that look like they are a hotel but this place is really a backpackers, so the quality of room didn't quite fit with the online pics, so that was disappointing. The toilet frequently backed up. Random strong sewerage smells, not pleasant. My room was along the main road so traffic noisy was extremely loud all the time (3am particularly!) but this is obviously out of the control of the guest house. The good Staff reasonably friendly. The place was clean (I didn't see a rat or coachroach in the three weeks i was there). Cheap. Close to the heart of the city. Overall unless you're on the poverty line I'd recommend splashing out a few extra bucks and getting a proper hotel room.
My wife and i spent 28 wonderful days there , we had a room with a restroom and airconditioning. cable TV. They also offer Family rooms, rooms with just a fan and shared restrooms and showers . They have a recreation room with Tv stero and DVD. the entry is guarded 24/7 by armed guard. It is safe and secure and verry friendly. They have some simple breakfast things at a fair price. They have beer and soft drinks also. If you want to make your own meal they have a nice friendly kitchen and everything you would need except the food. they offer overnight laundry service for a great price . And as just about any where you are in Cebu city there is street food but there is a good resturant across the street. All and all a plesent experance It isnt a 5 star but it is a great value for sure !!
Well, not much to say, checked out after one night, booked a Penthouse Room coz it looked nice on the net. In reality, looked very different, very dirty carpets, dirty sofa, half decayed bed, one TV to small to be counted. Can not recommend it to anybody.
My stay was pleasant enough after I moved from the dormitory room to a room with a fan. The dormitory room has no security... no lock on the door and each person must provide his/her own lock for lockers. The room was more secure. This guest house is low-cost and therefore you get what you pay for.
It was really cheap and nothing went wrong with what they promised. The ac was cold and the shower was hot. The guy helped me with directions whenever I asked and even sent in a lady to wake me up in the morning.
