Pictures are deceiving
This hotel resort seemed like it use to be a great hotel, but with poor management the hotel looks run don and very dirt with short staff. For example the hotel doesn't even have enough money to manage a mini bar not even a bottle of water in room. water is provided in the hall way.The restaurant food is ok. but half the stuff on the menu is not available. very limited. The price of the room is very high for the keep of quality your getting compared to other hotels in the same price range. I would recommend you stay at another hotel. The security is lacks there are local hopping over the beach fence harassing the hotel guest for day trips and tours.

This a Korean owned hotel the standards are extremely poor dirty bed linen, no safe in the hotel, either at reception or in room, air con that is noisey and inefficient sunbeds that were black with dirt! i have travelled a lot and i recommend you dont stay here you will be disappointed it is dreadful.The "hotel" is not finished on the upper floors. If you want wifi you stand in the corridor on the 5th /6th floor.Just remember i told you so.
Good facilities, but run down
The hotel is in a good location and has lots of potential, but the upkeep of the outdoor facilities is poor. The rooms are big and nicely kept, but the outdoor facilities are shabby and unkempt.
The hotel was almost deserted, so it would be great for a couple that wants privacy, but bad for people looking for social interaction. It has three adjacent pools, with nobody in them most of the time. In two days, we saw a group of divers training in the pool once, and two ladies in the pool at another time. We went to the restaurant for dinner, and we were the only guests. It almost felt creepy at times because it was so empty.
There is a nice ocean view, but no real beach to speak of...more like a bay.
The staff were friendly and helpful, as you would expect in the Philippines.
I would probably look for another hotel unless they renovate the outside grounds.

We stayed here first week of May....
We stayed here first week of May. The hotel comes across as a good 4 star hotel. The room was fine with no problems and was reasonably large. Our room featured a king size bed and also had a small kitchen featuring a microwave, sink and storage. The bathroom was fine with a full size tiled walk in shower. The hotel grounds gave the impression that this was an "in progress" build. The food in the restaurant was fine, reasonably priced. The hotel has its own small sandy beach but we never saw anyone use it. Our only concern was that very few people appeared to be staying here. There were no negatives about this hotel - just no guests ! We would stay here again but at times it felt like we were the only paying guests in the resort. Staff very attentive and very nice to deal with. In all, very happy with the experience. This was our 8th trip to Mactan Island.
