Atrium Elegance

My wife and I previously stayed here before in February 2010, we had a problem with the door swipe key not allowing us entry, the staff were very prompt and efficient in solving the delema. I found the staff to be polite and friendly in all areas. Unfortunately i did not accompany my wife this trip, but she informed me the Atrium is still a great place to stay

We (My wife & myself + our...

We (My wife & myself + our 2 kids) stayed only one night at Atrium hotel at 23rd floor in a very big sized room good for 6 people. One master bedroom, another bedroom and one living room. The bedrooms included both a bathroom. The Price of 68 EUR was very reasonable, the staff helpful and friendly. Internet is available for free in the business center at 15th floor. This is the only floor were WiFi is available inside the rooms. The cleanliness was not to fully satisfaction but absolutely OK for the low price. The coffee at the small restaurant was terrible and the sandwich my daughter had was poor too. The view to Makati and Manila Bay is wonderful, we took nice pictures during day and night time. The location is very centralized near to Makati, airport and shopping areas but very loud because of the many jeepneys and cars blowing their horn. This is how we experienced the place and considering all positive and negative things we would stay again there knowing it is only for one night.

I am a filipino and i could...

I am a filipino and i could say that i am well travelled. i must admit that i have been to hotels with better facilities, and i only chose to stay in this hotel because i need to stay in manila for 1 day only. the hotel is perfect for me in terms of location because it is a 1 minute walk from the provincial bus station (my home is in the province, batangas, south of manila). it is also near the LRT (train) station. across the street, there is also a multicab station going to the mall of asia. Makati, a central business district and also a place for bar hoppping, is also accessible by taxi (10 minutes). however, the hotel is quite old, the elevator is small and the water is from a deep well, hence, there is a brownish color in the water in the toilet bowl. the staff are very helpful, and the view from my hotel room is magnificent at night. one can see the whole city from the hotel room. it is a good hotel while you are on a budget.

We had never stayed at or near...

We had never stayed at or near Atrium before. We booked there because it was near to the airport and relatively cheap. Our room was a 2-bedroom suite and was clean and well maintained. Because of a recent typhoon the cable tv was out, but it was shortly restored. Public areas were not air-onditioned, but well taken care of. The view of the city was extraordinary! There was no coffee maker in the room, and a small styrofoam cup to go was $2.60! Ice delivered to the room was over $1.25 exclusive of tip. There was a 10% "service charge" added to any food purchase. Items from the mini-bar were expensive. It was a nickel and dime proposition, but manageable. The staff was friendly and efficient The business center well-maintained with fast computers. Overall, it was a good value.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful....

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are somewhat rundown and not super clean. There's a fair amount of noise coming from the street as well. Still if you are only staying one night as we did it's not a bad place to crash.

I stayed a lot of times there...

I stayed a lot of times there and was disapointed about the recent situation. It seems, this hotel will expire his being. The carpet was dirty , overall with holes; the bed was very unclean, the restaurant offers only a small menu.... . All in all no place to relax ond feelgood! Not recommendable!

Excellent. The service is good, security is...

Excellent. The service is good, security is good, cleanliness is more than I had expected for the price I paid. The air-conditioning was a little old but it didn't bother me- I had good night sleeps. I also stayed at other hotels at the similar price range during this stay in Manila, but I still say Atrium is the better.
