It was an enjoyable stay. The staff was professinal, courtious, and friendly.

Spacious and clean room with sofa area, good sized bathroom, good quality fittings. Nice pool, although it was hired out for a wedding our first day. The hotel is very security conscious, with all guests having to pass a security check upon entry, and a dog checking all bags.

stayed at Diamond May 14 2006, check-out date : May 16 2006,then we went to Boracay Island for a week.
Upon returning I still had 4 nights to spend in Manila, so we choose the Pan Pacific. Same price as Diamond, however, the first three floors are filled with different shops, restaurants, internet cafe on the third floor is $2. an hour, just a bunch of different shops. The different places to eat on the first three floors was great and the price didn't kill your wallet. The Diamond, on the other hand, had two places to eat, and they hit your wallet hard. The restaurant on top of the Diamond Hotel was about 80 for two and wasn't worth it. The lobby restaurant was pretty high as well. The rooms were the same, service the same, just the Pan Pacific had so much more to offer. I have been to the Pi several times now and the Pan Pacific will be my choice from now on.....

We stayed at the superior room and the view is great!!
However; noise can be heard from the Baywalk across the street. If you like to party hardy and crash on a nice place this is the hotel for you. Food is catered mainly for Asian tourist, but staff will go out of way to please you. There is some incident about the breakfast coupon.. so dont loose your ticket or else!!! Carpets needs some cleaning and they need newer towels. The cleaning staff is very good and sorry I forgot to leave tips$$.. Overall, our stay in this hotel is very pleasant and will definitely stay here again on my next visit. Remember, if you order 2 buckets of ice, they will charge you...ice should be free:)
I had a great time staying in...
I had a great time staying in this posh hotel. There were a few minor incidents with regards to the meal vouchers however, this was corrected later on during my stay. The restaurant staff was excellent and commendable. The security in this hotel is great however others might find this measure a bit of an inconvenience. I will definitely stay at this hotel in the future. Great Job!
For the money I was expecting better...
For the money I was expecting better accomodations. I've stayed at cheaper priced hotels in Manila that offered better service, food, and room quality. The service at the front desk wasn't great. Not a very welcoming place. The security there is pretty good though. I would recommend to check other places before you place a reservation at Diamond hotel.
