I suppose it depends on what exactly you are looking for Myself, I want a good quality 5 star hotel for a 3 star rate, which is what I got at this hotel. Secondly, the entire atmosphere of the hotel, the lobby entrance, the two restraunts attached, are all of the highest standards you could expect.
This hotel for me certainly replaced the horrible experience I had a the Heritage Hotel last year in Manila, which also was supposed to be a 5 star, when in fact, its maybe a 2 star at best.
You simply could not ask for a better quality hotel at the excellent price I received of $110 USD per night. This hotel is located on Manila Bay, with spectacular views in the morning with the sailboats.
As far as I am concerned, it was a 5 out of 5 expierience for me. The only advise I would give about going to Manila, is that if you are going there on business, and expect to make a great deal of phone calls, it is a must that you buy a local cell phone and prepaid calling time. Every hotel in Manila will charge you $4 a minute for long distance, when a calling card rate is fifty cents per minute. Second, if you are calling a local cell phone number from your hotel, they will charge you two dollars a minute, when a prepaid card is ony twenty cents a minutes. BIG difference.
Otherwise, take my word for it, and ENJOY THIS HOTEL !!
