The hotel is good. Location is great...
The hotel is good. Location is great too as it is very close to the shopping centers. It is like a one-stop shop.
The negative part is that the prices of foods & drinks are too expensive for what it is. Price of one San Miguel Beer is Php 200 each which is too much.
Hotel is a bit old too which can be seen on the washroom.
For the value of money, it is a bit too expensive for what it is.

On arrival at the Hotel, we were warmly greeted and given our room quickly. The extra requests ( non smoking and King size bed ) were confirmed and given. The hotel had a lovely layout and the staff were warm and friendly. The food at the hotel ( both restaurant and room service ) were fabulous and certainly welcome after some of the food we had experienced in the region prior. The security measures whilst friendly and efficient certainly shocked us on arrival, but after moving on to other destinations in the area, it became sadly normal. If ever we went to Manila again we would be very happy to stay here. Very well located to shopping & food outlets ( in fact within easy walking distance )

THIS IS THE HOTEL YOU WANT!!! I would recommend this to anyone. This is my third time staying here and they all remembered me by name. The service of this hotel and the cleanliness is un-imaginably outstanding. The breakfast bar is very well stocked with everything imaginable. Everyone is so polite and kind and friendly. I will stay there again when i go back to Manila. Recommend getting one of the Dusit Grande Suites, these rooms are on the top floor and the view is breathtaking. The only concern is when you check in..... do not let them use your credit card for advance incidental charges cause it takes too long for the money to go back into your account, just pay the 3000 pesos per night and you get it back upon checkout. Other than that, 5 stars!!!!

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to comment on my stay at the Dusit Thani in Manila. From the moment I stepped out of the taxi to the the day after my departure, the Dusit has totally impressed me with their first class professionalism. The two day stay was a great experience even though I was traveling alone. I felt safe and comfortable to be walking to the the two malls (Glorietta and SM) which are a block away. Every person in the hotel was always eager to please and without fail, greeted you with a smile. The facilities are in great condition and super clean. Clean is of utmost important to me, so I appreciated how the Dusit met my standards. There were two negative experiences I had at the hotel's Thai restaurant and its beauty salon. I would not recommend the Thai restaurant as the food was not that tasty and the chicken satay had to be sent back as it was under cooked. For the price, their portion sizes were stingy. Regarding the beauty salon, unless the Dusit has followed through on the comments I made on their survey, do not enter the Leonar beauty salon. If you insist, do not have a pedicure done by the older gentleman with the round glasses! It was the worst pedicure experience of my life and I wondered if he ever went to beauty school.... Also, the salon is very unorganized! The day after my departure, the Dusit followed through with a nice email letter of gratitude and requested a survey of my experience. I was glad to take the time out for this survey. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel to any one who would like a first class experience. Thank you Dusit and AsiaRooms!

PS I learned from one of the AsiaRooms reviews to use the side door for a cheaper rate taxi. It's the side where the deli is....best to you!

We requested a non-smoking room/floor. Our request was granted but our room still smelled like smoke. We requested for another room, but were told to wait the next day. It is inconvenient to move after you already got settled, so we decided to stick it out. I got sick from smell of smoke and was sick most of the stay.
