Dusit Nikko is probably the best hotel...
Dusit Nikko is probably the best hotel around in Makati considering the price & location factor, I had no regrets booking thru Asiarooms as I saved alot. I'm also very pleased the taxes were already included in the price and breakfast was inclusive too ! Dusit Nikko is stragetically located near to SM Mall, Greenbelt , The Landmark & Glorietta. Hotel lobby is grand and nice. ALso, going places to Rizal Park, Malacanang Palace, Quiapo from the hotel by taxi are within reasonable distance and costs about PHP120.00 which is considered very cheap. Our room is supposed to be deluxe room with twin beds but when we arrived there, the receptionist told us there is no more rooms available for twin beds and she upgraded us to Executive Club room instead. The bathroom is brightly lit and there are 2 shower heads ( fixed & mobile ) which are great advantage as I'm so used to using mobile shower heads and not all hotels come with such bathroom facilities. I will definitely come back to this hotel again next year. It is great !

i enjoyed my stay at dusit. it was very close to great shopping and restaurants, a great location. the people working there were very polite and helpful. i would definitely recommend dusit to anyone staying in makati, philippines.

My stay at Dusit Nikko Hotel Manila...
My stay at Dusit Nikko Hotel Manila was left something to be desired. For intstance, the cafe was less than half full and it took so long just to get a cup of coffee. Another one was when I asked for the directions to the house phone from one of the door monitors. He only stopped text messaging on his cell phone for a second to simply tell me "over there." It was my first day at the hotel so I had no Idea what "over there" meant. With improvements on a couple of customer service issues, I think the Dusit Nikko could be better. Most of the employees were very accommodating, especially the Thai Relations Representative Wanpen. Overall, my 5 day stay was quite pleasant. Whether it deserves to be a 5-star hotel, remains to be seen.

Earlier this month I visited the Dusit in Makati for the 3rd time within the past year and once again my stay was very pleasant. The location of the hotel makes it convenient for shopping but transportation to Ermita and Malate areas can be a hassle but the accommodations outweigh this problem. I have never had a hassle with friends visiting and they all seem to really like the hotel, therefore when I return to Manila early next year I once again will be spending a few of my nights at the Dusit.

Excellent accomodations. Clean and close to all the shopping malls in Makati and neighboring areas. Will definitely use the same hotel again when I go back to the Philipppines.
