the location is excelent the staff is very well behaved and freindly and i had a great stay
SAD Expirience
Let me put it that way – I am spending 80% of my time in Hotel in Asia for the past 12 years.
Price – value at the Dusit Thani is quite ok
If you don’t mind to look at people which giving you the impression, they do not like to work there and do not care about the guest, your stay will be ok!
Food wise, Breakfast is OK – no great deal, just ok.
If you book the Executive Level, you basically wasting your money as what will be provided in a loud talkative environment (not what I look far after a day of meetings), is far and I mean far below any Hotels in Asia.
Beside the friendliness of the staff – well not much more to say (I was there 5 nights).
Housekeeping can give you as well every day some surprises.
All over – it is OK if you don’t care it is ok to stay there, when you like to be in Makati
Next time I will stay at the Intercontinental again, bit more expensive but a better value.

Service Charge, VAT, Tax
Good location, opposite a big shopping mall. Airport distance not too far. No complaints. Only issue was, that I was of the opinion, that the cost of the room booked, is inclusive service charge, VAT and tax. However, when I checked out, I had to pay a bit over PHP2,000 for these charges. So keep this in mind, when booking via Asiarooms. These charges were around 20% of the room rate. Caveat Emptor
overall, our stay was okay. when we just had breakfast, we encountered problems with the food service.

This was my 3rd visit to this hotel. Chose it for its excellent location and attentive nad helpful staff
The hotel needs a major renovation, though and change of carpets and towels. Noticed cracks in the sink and on the floor tiles in the breakfast area.
Loved the unsual X'mas trees in the lobby. Very unique indeed!
Missed the smell of the lemon grass diffuser on my floor this time.

A great family experience
This is my first stay at the Dusit Thani and I have to say the service is excellent. My family felt very comfortable and were treated with great respect. If we needed anything, they were there to take care of it and they do it with enthusiasm. I have to say we have not received such excellent service with any other hotel so far in the Philippines. The rooms were not as big as I had hoped them to be but the cleaning service was excellent. I will come back again just knowing that we will not be disappointed.

I enjoyed my stay at the Dusit Thani Hotel, from the moment I walked in until I checked out. Especially, Venus who gave me my keys; even showed me my room. All my request, was handled without fuzz; even request for late check-out. My room is always cleaned and stocked with all amenities and fruit basket every afternoon. All the staff is very polite and friendly. I also like to thank my Bellboy, who is very helpful with all my bags. I feel very safe staying at this hotel but still you don't feel threatened the way they conduct their business. I truly recommend this Hotel to anybody who is looking for a hotel to stay in Makati area. Anything you need is very close to Dusit Thani Hotel.

The Dusit Thani Manila hotel was great during my stay in the Phillipines. It was very clean, everyone was polite, and the services they offered made us feel at home.
