we had a really wonderful and relaxing...

we had a really wonderful and relaxing stay in the hotel. all the staffs are courtious and very helpful.we were glad we chose to stay and will certainly recommend manila hotel to our friends. we are proud of you.in addition the rate is very affordable, view was excellent reminding us of the good old days me and my husband spent over there during our college days.

The hotel is verry nice and safe,historic...

The hotel is verry nice and safe,historic landmark. The only minus for the hotel is the breakfast? We stay for 6 nights,and 6 times the breakfast was cold ( Buffet)also the choise is verry limited for foreigners,not for filipinos

A nice historic landmark right across from...

A nice historic landmark right across from Rizal park. General Mcarthur`s home base from 1935-41. Tower rooms have park(city) or bay view. Option to stay/dine on floating ship/restaurant moored behind hotel. Pool is OK/ not great, but surrounded by nice gardens and is very quiet for Manila. My wife and I thought the food was very good for hotel food including room service. Our rate also included a breakfast buffet that we thought was a bargain.

You feel at home when you stay@ Manila Hotel.It's highly recommended esp. to senior who just want to relax and unwind, everything you need is there, restautants, bar, with pianist on the lobby if you just want to hang out on the lobby and meet your friends and relative who wants to visit you,very secured place and very accessible to US Embassy and the biggest newest MALL in ASIA

Staying at the Manila Hotel is like...

Staying at the Manila Hotel is like a taste of history. Because it is so old and historical, I actually appreciate seeing some of the signs of oldness in certain 'corners' as you look around as if you are a 'detail inspector'. It adds to the experience. The included 'all you can eat' breakfast in itself makes the cost that we paid ($90) worth it. I ate at least $25 worth of food maybe. It was great.

I stayed at manila Hotel because of...

I stayed at manila Hotel because of what I remembered it to be many decades ago. Having stayed at some hotels in Makati area, I think this hotel is below par in terms of facilities, policies and location. My experience did not meet my expectation of what this hotel should be. I would probably not stay there again.
