The service provided by the staff was excellent especially at the entrance, at reception and in the restaurant. Their attitude was always poitive and helpful and it was a pleasure to deal with them. Nothing seemed to be a trouble for them when it came to giving advce and assistance.
There is a need to better maintenance in some of the rooms. In the case of the first room I stayed in (Room 607) during my first-two day stay, I had to use a bucket on three occasions to flush the toilet - the towel rail almost fell into the bathtub and the airconditioning was so noisy that my sleep was constantantly disturbed. These problems did not prevail in Rooms 602 and 1606 during my two subsequent stays.
My only other comment is that thought might be given to varying the main menu in the restaurant on occasions to cater more for "western" tastes, e.g. increasing the choice of "steaks" and introducing other "seafood" dishes - but the food was of the highest quality.

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpfully stuff.
The rooms should be a little bit renovated in future, but the room-size and cleanness is ok, include the room service.
The location of the Hotel is great for business and leisure times.
The only important minus-point was in my eyes the poor breakfast-buffet.
But, if I have to stay in Makati one time more, I'll book this Hotel again, for sure!

BAD POINTS:
1. air-con is not that good
2. bed is a bit saggy
3. swimming pool has some insects and a bit dirty
4. it takes ages to check out (30-45 mins!)

The hotel was old and the location was not that great. The carpets and bathroom are in need of updating. One major complaint was breakfast, we got there 20 minutes before close and they had no more food. They made not attempt to replace any of the foods, so we had to eat whatever was left. There were several couples that came after to experience the same breakfast.
I booked this because it said it was a 4 star hotel for a very good price. It was far from a 4 star hotel. That old saying you get what you paid for, I would look for another place next trip.

Room was fine for the price breakfast good. the hotel had its own taxi service but the customer service people said they didnt. I found it quiet enough at night ( I was six floors up)and the staff were helpful. made quite a good base for seeing manila.

Stayed for 3 nights. Good size room fitted king size bed plus extra bed, so slept 3 adults plus 2 little ones fine. A bit old fashioned but so what. Bathroom ok but you could look up through the lack of ceiling panels and see the internal concrete wall of the building. Buffet very average, don't have the coffee. Not a good view, straight into the next door aparthotel and a taxi ride for anywhere to eat. Don't use the "inside pool". Its inside the building, half-finished with no changing rooms and with the walls either end knocked out so it had a cool breeze when its cloudy, it is also not heated and quite cold. Beware - it contains powerful chemicals. I only had a bit of a snuffle but I was in pain 4hrs later and took pain killers for the next 3 days. The staff were very helpful though and especially so to children.
