A friendly environment and a peaceful accommodation
Location of Lotus Garden is not that appealing to foreigners because lots of beggar outside the hotel but inside this hotel will gives you a warm and friendly environment, most especially staffs were very hospitable, from reception, waiters, cleaners and the security guards who will help and guide you anytime. I was in this hotel when there was a typoon Pedring. I witnessed how the hotel employees helped each other to avoid the flooding inside the lobby, I was not able to leave the hotel for my appointment because of the flood coming from Manila bay that broke the sea wall. To my suprise, although there was a typoon, seminar inside this hotel was still ongoing. There are many restaurants at the vicinity not to mention Robinson Plaze is few minutes walk. Rooms are not that good compared to other hotel but you have a peace of mind that your personal belongings are very safe. As i heard, employees are being checked by hotel securities before going out the premises. My family guests enjoys dining at the Solara where the jaccuzi located. I will recommend this hotel to my Australian friends who plans to stay in Manila. My 16 nights stay here was not enough, I might stay longer on my next trip to Manila.
