Good hotel, quite and only 5-10 minutes...
Good hotel, quite and only 5-10 minutes walk to Shangri-La Plaza and the largest Shoemart in Metro-Manila. So location for shoppers is very good. On Friday evening there is a good live band in front of Shangri-La Plaza and the pubs and restos outside stay open til late after the plaza has closed (9PM). It's not a very well-known location for taxi drivers as half of them don't know the hotel. Tell them the hotel is very close to the Medical Centre in Ortigas and they know where to go. Also traffic in front of the hotel is bad at peak hours.
The breakfast in the hotel is good, and changes every day, so you don't get bored with the menu if you stay longer than just a couple of days.
Service is good, staff let you feel welcome in this hotel. Check-in and check-out was quick and efficient
despite the fact that I wanted a non-smoking room instead of a smoking room (which was initially reserved for me).
Room is OK in size (standard)(was on the 21st floor), and have ammenities that you can expect from a 4 star hotel. The bathroom is smallish, but clean and fresh. There is a bathtub with a shower, no seperate shower.
Three elevators available so never had to wait long, as the elevators are fast, and between 4-11th floor it doesnt stop (because those are for office buildings with different entrance).
Hotel was ok, for the price, but...
Hotel was ok, for the price, but travel to Makati for meetings was a problem at peak hour with very heavy traffic. The staff were very friendly, and the Bar and entertainment was ok.
The breakfast was very poor, from a western point of view, but maybe ok for asian.
Overall its is ok if it is impossible to get a room in Makati.

This was my first stay at the Richmonde, I truly enjoyed by stay there and would definitely stay again. I recommend the hotel to anyone.

Our stay was pleasent. Rooms were nice. Only complaints are king size bed was asked for but no mention of it not being surplied and no reason given as to why not.

I stayed in Richmonde last second week of sept to oct 3, all staffs are very professional, courteous and the bathroom is clean. And the place is safe and accessible to malls.

This is a great place to stay. Although it is smaller than other hotels in the area, the courteous and accommodating staff and the well-kept premises and sufficient amenities are more than enough reasons to keep coming back to this hotel.

Excellent service, staff and location. Ive stayed at Richmonde Hotel for the last 3yrs and i keep coming back!!!...Oh, the piano bar, what an excellent addition to one of its many ammenities, great singers and group of guys and gals who will make your stay beyond your expectation..I'd say, keep up the good work guys and i'll see you again soon!! (( too bad it couldnt be soon enough!!! ))
