Pleasant Stay in Manila
Had some trouble getting to condo as taxi drivers not familiar with Le Mirage and the street is one way which meant having to go all the way around the block once you missed the place. The signage could be improved with better lighting for easier visibility at night. This would have saved me 2 hours crawling through the street looking for the place and finally finding that I have passed it 3 times!
The bright point of the day was that the condo turned out to be better than expected - clean and fairly well-maintained. Unit was fully air-conditioned, equipped with tv,dvd, fridge, kitchen stove and utensils. This was a home away from home - you could cook, watch tv and relax on the sofa, etc.
The bedrooms were nice - beds ok, bathroms clean with hot water and showers that works! Only grouse I had was the doors which needed repairs. The door handle of one of the bedroom got stuck and I had to use a knife to free my trapped daughter. The managment was quick to replace the spoilt door handle upon my complaint. Would be good and more comfortable if proper blankets were provided instead of just a bedsheet.
Great view of the sea and bay from the unit. There is no restaurant in the unit, only a convenience shop at the basement where you can get instant noodles to cook yourself otherwise you will need to walk about 10 minutes to fast food shops nearby. Streets are dark and not too safe for young children to walk alone at night - many ktvs and night entertainment outlets along the street but then, this is Manila and one should be prepared for such.
The condo unit is a good place to stay for a family on holiday and value for money. I would stay again if ever I come back.
