The best holiday ever!
Our family (2 children in age of 10 and 12) spent a lovely time in Villa Leonora. Combination of leisure time in peaceful resort and adventure trips was the best choice for all of us. The sandy beach is save, shallow water, good for play in waves. Where else you can enjoy watching sunrise in your pajamas :-) The owner - Mr.Arthur and his family are very kind and helpful people who try their best to make your holiday unforgettable. It is good to plan the trips in advance - an island hopping (Snake Island is a great place for snorkeling, do not loose your time with going somewhere else:-), hike through the rain forest where you can observe nature and enjoy swimming under the waterfalls (good shoes needed as you will cross the river and slippery stones many times and I guess only natives can do that in flipflops:-) You mustn't miss a visit of Underground River in Sabang, Monkey trail on the way back is highly recommended as you will have an opportunity to see big lizards and monkeys.
Adventureous stay
Very adventureous stay away from any kind of modern civilised features like internet and TV.
If you like to be left alone in a nice area, with some nice excursions you are right here.
The owner is extremely helpful with all your needs, so they really try to make ur stay as pleasant as possible.
But be prepared to not having internet and TV as well as occasional power cuts, and you will be awarded with beautiful scenery.
Our Stay at Villa Leonora
A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a first class resort.
Myself, my Filipino wife, my sister in law and my mother in law of 80 years plus were treated like honored guests by the staff and owners of this excellent venue.
The activities were first class and appealed to our adventurous nature and Arthur and Leonora the owners were like old friends by the end of our stay.
It was really great to see Arthur's beaming British face after our 60km drive from the airport.
His staff were fantastic and Arthur and Leonora were fantastic as well.
They were all very polite, efficient and obliging.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Our accommodation was clean, light and airy and yes we will be back again.
However if you are looking for bright lights, restaurants and an active night life then this isn't for you as it is far removed from such places.
If you seek a good quality, quiet resort with plenty of daytime activity and plenty of relaxing 'chill out' time in the evenings, then I recommend it.

A place with charm!
A place with charm, due to the staff and the friendly owner. Very high value for money. The only negative was that the beach was not very sandy and clean when we were there, however, we think this is due to the waves and that this may change from time to time. We had two exciting trips in the rain forest, which was a great experience. We would love to come back.

This is a fantastic family run hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and professional. The rooms are clean and the scenery is breathtaking. Ideal for the romantics and family escapades. I would definitely use this hotel again and again.
