Alfonso was difficult to find; its well past Taygaytay, kind of off the beaten path. Its location is a major plus if quiet and privacy is what you want. Out our window a bull and a horse we teathered to eat the lush grass. Transportation to Taal can be a challenge, but managable.
The proximity of the Tagaytay Country Club was a bonus. Alfonso's restaurant was Italian and good, but I didnt travel from Salem, VA USA to eat ethnic Italian. The country club had traditional Phillipine cusine and was not only tastey but inexpensice as well. The golfing facilities were up to their western counterparts.
If you want a reasonably priced facility, not crowded and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of Tagaytay, this is a great place.
