Directions

Leaving the international Airport in direction to Funchal, you will go on the highway and take exit n.13 where you will also see a sign of “Jardin Botanico” (Botanical Gardens) and Camacha.
Turn left.

This will direct you to Funchal.

After having gone under a viaduct (downhill) for aproximately 2 km when you will reach a turn-off on your right with an indication to the Botanical Gardens and Choupana Hills.
Take this turn-off and continue to the Botanical Gardens which, when you get there, will be on your left.
Directly after the Botanical Gardens turn left and continue ascending until you reach the Restaurante do Miranda (Miranda Restaurant) on your right.

Continue along this road, which will bring you to a sharp left bend and ascending street with trees on both sides.

Continue ascending.

You will come across 2 tight curves, one on your left and one on your right, continue ascending until you find a turn off to your left (Signpost “Choupana Hills”), take it and in another 250 meters you will find the Choupana Hills Resort & Spa.
