Just 100 metres away from the peculiar natural rocka pools of Madeira. Vineyards producing the famous Madeira wines surround the Hotel and 1 km away lies the "laurisilva" forest (a wolrd Patrimony recognisd by UNESCO since 2000) containing uniques types of fauna and flora.
