Located on the peaceful little Atlantic island of Porto Santo, the Hotel Vila Baleira Thalassa is a resort hotel offering a wide range of activities to suit all ages. This lovely 4-star hotel is directly on one of Porto Santos finest beaches, measuring some 9km long.

The hotel features a total of 256 guest rooms and suites. All of the guest room is spacious and modern in design, with most of the rooms featuring a balcony with views over the sea.

The Hotel Vila Baleira has a wide range of activities available to guests including beach volleyball, beach football and a dive centre. It is also possible to hire bikes, the perfect way to explore the island. The hotel is located just a few minutes from the famous Porto Santo Golf Course, which was designed by the legendary Seve Balesteros.

Children will not be bored at this popular resort either. The Junior Club is open for children aged 3-12 years and offers a range of activities and games to keep the young ones busy. There is also a separate children’s pool and kid’s playground.

Connected to the hotel by a tunnel is the Baleira Thalassa & Spa, the only thalassotherapy centre on the island of Porto Santo. The spa offers a wide range of treatments, therapies and massages as well as a sauna and Turkish bath.

The Atlantic is the hotels main restaurant and offers extensive buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a wide choice of local, regional and national dishes.
